Noor Al-Quraan

أعوذُ بِٱللَّهِ مِنَ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنِ ٱلرَّجِيمِ

O Allah, I seek refuge in you from the accursed Satan

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

أَلْهَىٰكُمُ ٱلتَّكَاثُرُ ۝

102:1

Competition for more ˹gains˺ diverts you ˹from Allah˺,

Tafseer

حَتَّىٰ زُرْتُمُ ٱلْمَقَابِرَ ۝

102:2

until you end up in ˹your˺ graves.1

Tafseer

كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ ۝

102:3

But no! You will soon come to know.

Tafseer

ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ ۝

102:4

Again, no! You will soon come to know.

Tafseer

كَلَّا لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ عِلْمَ ٱلْيَقِينِ ۝

102:5

Indeed, if you were to know ˹your fate˺ with certainty, ˹you would have acted differently˺.

Tafseer

لَتَرَوُنَّ ٱلْجَحِيمَ ۝

102:6

˹But˺ you will surely see the Hellfire.

Tafseer

ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيْنَ ٱلْيَقِينِ ۝

102:7

Again, you will surely see it with the eye of certainty.

Tafseer

ثُمَّ لَتُسْـَٔلُنَّ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَنِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ ۝

102:8

Then, on that Day, you will definitely be questioned about ˹your worldly˺ pleasures.
