اور (قسم ہے) اس کی جو اس نے پیدا کیے نر اور مادہ۔

por Quien creó al hombre y a la mujer,

Et par ce qu’Il a créé, mâle et femelle !

以创造男性和女性的主发誓，

Indeed, your efforts are diverse.

بیشک تمہاری کوشش الگ الگ ہے۔

que las obras [de las personas] son diversas.

Vos efforts sont divergents.

你们的行为，确是不同的。

As for he who gives and fears Allāh

تو جس نے عطا کیا اور تقویٰ اختیار کیا۔

A quien dé caridades, tenga temor [de Dios]

至於赈济贫民，敬畏真主，

And believes in the best [reward],

اور اس نے تصدیق کی اچھی بات کی۔

y crea en los valores más sublimes,

et déclare véridique la plus belle récompense.

且承认至善者，

We will ease him toward ease.

تو اس کو ہم رفتہ رفتہ آسان منزل (جنت) تک پہنچادیں گے۔

le facilitaré el camino del bien.

Nous lui faciliterons la voie au plus grand bonheur.

我将使他易於达到最易的结局。

But as for he who withholds and considers himself free of need

اور جس نے بخل کیا اور بےپروائی اختیار کی۔

Pero a quien sea avaro, crea que puede prescindir [de Dios]

Et quand à celui qui est avare, se dispense (de l’adoration d’Allah),

至於吝惜钱财，自谓无求，

اور جھٹلا دیا اچھی بات کو۔

y desmienta los valores más sublimes,

et traite de mensonge la plus belle récompense,

且否认至善者，

We will ease him toward difficulty.

تو اس کو ہم رفتہ رفتہ مشکل منزل (جہنم) تک پہنچا دیں گے۔

no le impediré transitar por el camino de la adversidad.

Nous lui faciliterons la voie à la plus grande difficulté,

我将使他易於达到最难的结局。

et à rien ne lui serviront ses richesses quand il sera jeté (au Feu).

当他沦亡的时候，他的财产於他有什麽裨益呢！

(دیکھو انسانو !) یقینا ہمارے ذمے ہے ہدایت پہنچا دینا۔

Evidencio la guía,

C’est à Nous, certes, de guider ;

我确有指导的责任，

And indeed, to us belongs the Hereafter and the first [life].

اور ہمارے ہی لیے ہے اختیار آخرت کا بھی اور دنیا کا بھی۔

y a Mí me pertenecen esta vida y la otra.

à Nous appartient, certes, la vie dernière et la vie présente.

我确有後世和今世的主权。

دیکھو ! میں نے تمہیں خبردار کردیا ہے بھڑکتی ہوئی آگ سے۔

Les he advertido sobre un fuego abrasador,

Je vous ai donc avertis d’un Feu qui flambe.

故我警告你们一种发焰的火，

None will [enter to] burn therein except the most wretched one

نہیں پڑے گا اس میں مگر وہ جو انتہائی بدبخت ہے۔

en el que solo ingresarán los desventurados

où ne brûlera que le damné,

唯薄命者坠入其中，

جس نے جھٹلایا اور منہ پھیرلیا۔

que desmientan y se aparten [del Mensaje].

qui dément et tourne le dos ;

他否认真理，而背弃之。

But the righteous one will evade it

اور بچالیا جائے گا اس سے جو انتہائی متقی ہے۔

Pero el piadoso estará a salvo [de ese fuego],

alors qu’en sera écarté le pieux,

敬畏者，得免於火刑。

[He] who gives [from] his wealth to purify himself

[He] who gives [from] his wealth to purify himself

جو اپنا مال دیتا ہے اپنے (نفس) کو پاک کرنے کے لیے۔

aquel que da parte de su riqueza para purificarse [de la avaricia],

qui donne ses biens pour se purifier.

他虔诚地施舍他的财产，

And not [giving] for anyone who has [done him] a favor to be rewarded1 Footnote - 1 i.e., without intending reciprocation for some benefit to himself.

اور اس کے ذمے کسی کا احسان نہیں جس کا وہ بدلہ چکا رہا ہو۔

no anhelando una retribución ni favor [de otra persona],

et auprès de qui personne ne profite d’un bienfait intéressé,

他没有受过任何人的应报的恩德，

But only seeking the face [i.e., acceptance] of his Lord, Most High.

بلکہ (وہ تو خرچ کر رہا ہے) صرف اپنے بلندو برتر پروردگار کی رضاجوئی کے لیے۔

sino anhelando el Rostro de su Señor, el Altísimo,

mais seulement pour la recherche de La Face de son seigneur le Très- Haut 1. Footnote - 1 La recherche de la Face…: la recherche de voir Son Seigneur au Paradis, ou la recherche de Sa récompense.

但他施舍只是为了求他的至尊主的喜悦，

And he is indeed going to be satisfied.

اور وہ عنقریب راضی ہوجائے گا۔

y por eso quedará complacido.

Et certes, il sera bientôt satisfait !

他自己将来必定喜悦。
